The answer is NO. Not all natural latex mattresses are organic.

A mattress is made up of several components for you to sleep soundly and wake up well-rested the following day: the wood casing; the exterior fabric which encases the foam; some contains fillers; racetracking which provides perimeter support to your latex foam; spring system and toppers.

Latex is rubber foam that can either be natural or synthetic. Naturally, the synthetic latex mattresses contain lots of chemicals. While, the natural latex mattresses on the other hand are made with 90% to 95% of pure natural rubber from the rubber tree. The rest include zinc oxide, fatty acid soaps, sulfur and sodium, which are unavoidable in order to complete the process. After the whole process, most of the chemicals are removed with the baking process and then the finished products are washed at least 2 to 3 times, removing whatever residue is left. This makes natural latex mattresses 99% all natural.

How Can Natural Latex Mattress be called Organic Latex Mattress?
